Fantastic! Absolute gem tucked away in Kinderhook, NY. Inviting, calm space, newly renovated. Beautifully appointed rooms with Frette sheets, towels and robes. Rooms are each uniquely decorated, and there are inviting common spaces like a game room, lounge and communal table. Kinderhook square, just across the street, includes a wonderful coffee shop, bagel shop, general store, and more. Absolutely my new favorite accommodation in Columbia County.

All I can say is Wow! The Old Dutch Inn is an ultra classy hotel in the middle of the quaint historical village of Kinderhook. The photos cannot do justice to how each room has been expertly curated to modernize yet stay true to the building's history. No comfort is overlooked!

Our stay at the Old Dutch Inn was perfect! We loved the Frette linens and towels, the large trendy and comfortable room and the luxurious marble bathroom! Kinderhook is a quaint small town and a great jumping off point if you are visiting the area. You cannot do better than the Old Dutch Inn and if we are ever in the area again we will most certainly be making a reservation!

We stayed at the Old Dutch Inn in Kinderhook, NY for two nights enroute from Cape Cod to Toronto. It’s a gem. One of the owners, Jennifer, met us upon our arrival and showed us around the recently restored and renovated 19th Century inn, which is centrally situated in this charming and historic village. Our guest room was spacious and comfortable - large windows on two sides, a very comfortable king size bed with top quality linens, and a large ensuite bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and a walk-in shower. Jennifer reserved a table for us at the nearby Aviary restaurant for our arrival night dinner and we highly recommend it. The historic Hudson Valley towns of Hudson and Rhinebeck are short drives from Kinderhook and we’d certainly recommend using the Old Dutch Inn as a base when exploring this beautiful region. We’ll definitely return.

We stayed here for five nights and easily could have stayed longer. Perfectly located by the Kinderhook town square, where there's a fun Saturday farmer's market, and within a block of restaurants, coffee, great bagels, a bookstore and a large library. The Inn is beautifully restored, with a nice gathering space and coffee bar on the first floor and another, smaller common space on the second floor. Particularly noteworthy: high-quality bedding, comfortable beds, luxurious showers and the most comfortable tub ever! Such a comfortable and relaxing room, all in all.

So classy. So comfortable. And quiet. I'd stay again for sure when in the area. There is so much to do in the area. Close to Farmer's Markets, and if you're into outdoor events, there is plenty to do. But at the Inn, the outdoor patios let you relax and watch the hustle and bustle of Downtown Kinderhook. And right across the street is a wonderful set of restaurants for breakfast or dinner. And the owners make sure they make you feel welcome and the place is immaculately clean.

A Perfect Blend of History and Comfort at The Old Dutch Inn. We recently stayed at The Old Dutch Inn in Kinderhook, NY, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners have done a beautiful renovation of this historic property, seamlessly blending its rich historic fabric with modern comforts. The amenities were top-notch, including a spa-like bathroom, a cozy TV lounge, a coffee bar, a super comfortable bed, and—perhaps the best of all—quiet. Lots of quiet. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, The Old Dutch Inn is a gem that we can't recommend highly enough. Whether you're visiting for a weekend getaway or passing through the Hudson Valley, this inn is a must-stay.

All rooms have been carefully appointed with luxurious finishes and contemporary comforts. Hardwood floors throughout the building reflect the availability of raw material during the era in which they were originally sourced. Each ensuite bath has been updated with custom tilework, gold hardware and luxurious Frette linens. The property has many accessible features and public spaces including an entrance ramp, its gathering tables and public restrooms, an elevator and a guest room designed with accessibility in mind.
