Comfortable Luxury
Each of Old Dutch Inn's nine guest rooms is a unique marriage of historical charm and a modern, chic aesthetic. Originally built in 1820 to serve as a shoe shop, private residence and public hall, the property has retained its Village prominence over the centuries through a devotion to serving our community's changing hospitality needs, and today, by meeting the high standards of modern travelers. All rooms have been carefully appointed with luxurious finishes and contemporary comforts. Hardwood floors throughout the building reflect the availability of raw material during the era in which they were originally sourced. Each ensuite bath has been updated with custom tilework, gold hardware and luxurious Frette linens. The property has many accessible features and public spaces including an entrance ramp, its gathering tables and public restrooms, an elevator and a guest room designed with accessibility in mind.
Herrick
Charles M Bray and Calvin L Herrick built, in 1820, what is now Old Dutch Inn for use primarily as a shoe shop, private residence and public hall. The modern Herrick is a third-floor King room with the best views of the Village Square.

Mason
In the 19th century, various fraternal orders including the Masons utilized the property's third floor as their Lodge. Today's Mason is a third-floor King room with two northerly windows.

Bray
In 1820, Messrs. Calvin Herrick and Charles Bray originally built what is now Old Dutch Inn for use primarily as a shoe shop, private residence and public hall. Our Bray is a third-floor King room overlooking the Village Square. Bray is the largest room on the property and one of three to offer a soaking tub.
Van Buren
Honoring one of the property's legacy names, the Van Buren is a second-floor, southern-facing King overlooking the bustling Village Square.

Roberts
In remembrance of a much-loved former caretaker of the property, the Roberts is a third-floor, southern-facing Double Queen with an abundance of natural light. This is the quietest room on the property.
Irving
The Town of Kinderhook is recognized for inspiring Washington Irving's, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." The eponymous Irving is a second-floor, accessible, Queen room. An elevator provides ease of access to all floors.
Gelderland
Named for the Netherlands' region where Kinderhook's sister city of Buren resides, Gelderland is a second-floor, southern-facing Queen room.
Petrillo
Honoring one of the property's legacy names, the Petrillo is a second-floor, southern-facing King overlooking the bustling Village Square. Petrillo is one of three rooms to offer a soaking tub.
Lindenwald
In the mid-1800s through early 1900s, Old Dutch Inn was operated as the Lindenwald Hotel, named after the nearby homestead of United States President Martin Van Buren. Our Lindenwald is a second-floor, southern-facing Queen room.
